Monthly Consulting & Accountability
You submit 10-15 pages of work each month/every other month, depending on your needs.
I make in-text edits and include an editorial note highlighting big picture issues and questions about the manuscript.
We have a 45 minute monthly Zoom to discuss the submission and any other publishing-related questions/concerns (Ask me anything!).
Rate: $200, ongoing as long as client deems necessary
Whole Novel Package
You submit an entire novel for critique and feedback.
I read it and do in-text edits plus an editorial letter highlighting issues of character arc, plot, story development and other story elements.
Optional add-on of a Zoom meeting to discuss the book and my feedback.
Rate: Novel word count under 35,000 words - $450
Word count 35,000-45,000 - $600
Word count 50,000-65,000 - $800
Word count 70,000 - $1000
* Zoom meeting add-on: $100/hour, 30 min minimum
Goal Setting and Publishing Consults
One hour Zoom conversation in an "Ask Me Anything" format about writing, publishing, the industry, etc. Or maybe you need help setting goals and getting motivated? We can work on that together!
Note: Does not include critique.
Picture Book Critique
We do two rounds of revision. For round I, I give you big-picture editorial comments and line edits. You take the manuscript back and revise. In Round II, we get in close and assess page turns, word choice, and all the little details that go into making a strong picture book.
